I've been designing and building for the web since 2007.

I'm Naresh Rokkam, a product designer and frontend developer from Hyderabad who got pulled into marketing early and never quite left. My first job was slicing Photoshop layouts into HTML. Since then I've led UI/UX teams, built design systems and interfaces for enterprise products, run SEO and digital marketing alongside design work, run my own agency, and worked on federal government projects. Today I'm Head of Design, Digital & AI.
That mix is the useful part. I can sit in a meeting with a marketing lead, a developer and a founder and follow all three conversations, because I've done each of those jobs.
How I use AI
I use AI on nearly every project. It gets me to a draft faster and it argues back, which helps. It doesn't decide. The research pass, the first draft of copy, the script that turns forty rows of client data into forty assets: AI does a lot of that now. Which idea is right, what ships and what gets cut are still my calls.

Head of Design, Digital & AI
I lead design, digital and AI work for the business: the website and product interfaces, search and campaigns, and how the team uses AI day to day.
Frontend / UI/UX Developer
Designed and built accessible frontends for federal government projects and brought AI-assisted workflows into the team's design and development process.
Manager, UI/UX Development
Ran the UI/UX practice. Led a mixed team of designers and frontend developers, set up shared component libraries so projects stopped starting from zero, and designed enterprise dashboards and client prototypes.
